Here you go, a silly start.

"What was that noise in the kichen?" I wondered.
I quietly crept to the door and peeked in and to my astonishment saw a giant purple frog, eating all the cookies.

that's funny. i was thinking something set in the Roman empire, ancient Greece, or something.
