Prom 2011

Post by Malletmusic17 on Sun Apr 17, 2011 2:47 pm

yeah...my eyes are kinda closed...

Honestly, it was the best night I could’ve ever wanted. It was so much better to go with a group of friends than with a date. My friends are amazing.

now, I don’t dance, I don’t pretend that I do. I hate getting sweaty and gross. but, I did dance(: and, it was fun! I completly enjoyed myself.

Now girl all have the fear of someone looking like them, wearing the same dress and what not. while someone did wear the same dress as me, fortunately for me, it was someone totally awesome and not someone lame. (cough Kelsey who is my friend from band cough)

but really, Prom 2011 had was completly amazing, I couldn’t have asked for a better night.

Chuck Bless You. (hehe. inside joke? mmkay. we were at Outback for dinner and were thinking of what would happen if God sneezed (Jesus Bless You) then if they both sneeze (Devil Bless You) all three sneeze (Tom Cruise Bless You) all four sneeze (Charlie Sheen Bless You) and then all five (Chuck Noris Bless you, but he doesnt sneeze so it ends there)
best dinner convo ever haha.

Afterprom was boring, but iHop with the Haileys (two of my best friends, who are both names Hailey) was fun, and then sleepover. it was just an amazing evening, better than I could’ve imagined.

And I got a complement from Mr Coston, my band teacher. kinda made my night that much better(:

Wow, your prom was early...

You look beautiful. Smile Sounds like you had a good time.

So was going with friends this year better than with a date last year? Because it's official, I'm dateless, and all my friends have dates... Neutral

Stephh, that hair looks so romantic like a long ago age. Beautiful.

Soap is from Canada. Maybe they do not have IHOP there. When I lived in San Diego, our IHOP made the BEST fried cod fish. I usually do not like fish, except for Cod or Halibut.

We don't have IHOP here I don't think, but then again, you guys don't have smarties.

Do you have a duel citizenship?

No. I was in the military and was stationed up there.
(A most unique thing I remember is that you guys use vinegar on your French Fries, where we use Kechup.) I wonder if Smarties are like our M&M's.

I'm pretty tempted to make a thread contrasting different countries to the US. Vinegar is actually really delicious on fries, paired with ketchup too.

Our M&Ms have chocolate and a nut inside, whereas our smarties are purely just chocolate.

What were the differences in the people vs. your home? (Presuming it's U.S, feel free to correct if wrong)

While most of this is true, we have the regular M&M's as well, also peanut and pretzel. Another thing you might find humorous is the fact that we have Ketchup flavoured potato chips, not a fan of these things myself, but I find myself wondering more cultural differences we might share.

Sorry to further throw your topic off-board, hope your prom issues are all well and solved, I never attended mine, so I can't offer any guiding assistance, also the fact that I'm a male doesn't help the situation.

We have Smarties here. They aren't chocolate though. They're pretty much just pure sugar smashed together with a bit of food coloring. People used to chuck them at each other during class in junior high hahah.

I've actually had Smarties (the Canadian kind). Though I don't remember where. I've never even been near Canada. That's kinda weird.
