I Need a Show To Watch
I have come to the conclusion... several actually.
1) This is in the wrong section
2) I finish watching TV series WAY to fast.
2) I have nothing new to watch, and its far to soon to rewatch a few good shows.
3) Freaks and Geeks is amazing. Death to those who cancelled it!
Can anyone recommend me a few good shows to watch? Right now I am currently revisiting Doctor Who season 1 and 2 I guess. I realized I haven't fully seen some of the episodes and its been ages since I saw the 9th Doctor. But I am going to need a new show.
Actually I still got Jeremiah to finish... That and if I am honest I have only fully seen the First season of X-Files. Most of my watching is a bit scattered and have seen the majority... perhaps thats what I should watch. Of course then there is Firefly. I have no idea why I never finished watching...
Well I need new shows to add to my list...
So! Can anyone recommend some good shows?

Re: I Need a Show To Watch
Dude, the X files rocks. That was the show of my childhood! My mom would watch it in the mornings and I'd wake up everyday to the creepy ass theme song. lol
If you haven't seen Lost, watch it. Start to finish, but pace yourself, you'll need thinking time trust me. You've probably watched it, but I feel obligated to mention it, being the best show ever to be aired and all.
I just finished Roswell, though I don't know if I would reccomend it. Umm, If you are into the kind of thing, you could watch Fringe, it is X Fileish. V comes back on soon, and I'd reccomend it if you haven't seen it. And Psych is super awesome, maybe not to go through every episode, but it is cool for a few laughs when you are bored.

Definitely seen Lost, such an amazing show.
Hmm never seen Roswell. I have seen the title listed on the Syfy channel from time to time but never gave it a chance. Might have to give it a try.
Fring. That reminds me I am far behind... along with Chuck. FFS why am I so behind.
Psych has become a show I watch when nothing else is on. I used to watch it all the time, but sorta lost interest in it.
Also I almost forgot about V. The last thing I remember happening on that show was that Anne or... well whatever the leaders name was got all angry and the sky turned red.
I think I will check out Roswell.

Do you like sitcoms? My dad just introduced me to The IT Crowd. It's British, which makes it extra hilarious. I've only watched the first 4 episodes so far, but I love what I've seen.

The sky turning red is actually the last thing that happened on the show. It's been on hiatus forever. I actually thought that it got canceled, but the second season is starting January 4.

Re: I Need a Show To Watch
I have many many to recommend but since I am kinda lazy right now I'll start with only one right now
If you are still riding on a Freaks and Geeks high you can try Undeclared. It's from the same people that created Freaks and Geeks although it deals in college life instead (you can see Nick well the actor as a really really psycho boyfriend)and it's not quite that good. However it's still cancelled quite early so it's not a big time investment. You can try it here

I was hoping that you would have something similar to Freaks and Geeks to suggest. Will have to check it out after I finished Threshold. After I made this post I was browsing some websites listed shows and came across it. I remembered that you recommending it and thought 'why not?' great show so far.

Oh wow I do have 2 twos.(see what I did there?)
To bad im to lazy to fix it.

Nice!. I loved Threshold although it was an enourmos pain to find any quality version of the episodes out there. Hope you are having better luck.
And I am sure you have already watched it but in case you have amnesia or jsut want to refresh yourself there is always one of the greatest teen shows ever.: Daria

I been watching it online. The torrents I found were rather slow moving and I sometimes have trouble being patient. So far I have only been able to find them on Megavideo which is a pain to use because of the time limit every 30 minutes.(though sometimes if you wait a bit and refresh, the wait time is much shorter then it should be) But the quality is fairly good. Sometimes the picture is a bit messed up. But atleast the audio isn't out of sync. There is nothing more irritating to me then having the audio off. Even if its just by the smallest bit. Of course for some reason when this happens I am almost always looking at the characters mouths. lol

Crap I have yet to see Daria. Its a good thing I made this thread. Got lots of things to look forward too.

Re: I Need a Show To Watch
I know exactly what you mean. Off sync audio ruins any movie completely for me. Especially if it is more action oriented where you can easily tell by the lack of sync in explosions and stuff
Ok I was going to reccomend watching Tower Prep as next http://www.moviewatch.in/watch-2413997-Tower-Prep since I just I mean literally just about 5 minutes ago saw the finale of the first season and as whole I must say it is surprisingly good but forget all this
In fact forget everything. Other shows, movies whatever. Watching Daria is an essential part of existence. It's like Die hard, Or Terminator. Something that you must see otherwise there is always going to be something missing from your life.
Seriously go here and watch it now(starts from episode 2. Sealed with a kick is just a promo trailer type of thing) http://www.moviewatch.in/watch-9867-Daria
Not having watched Daria
That's just too sad

Yeah I know its sad.
Pfft great advice on not seeing the Sealed with A Kick. Made me almost miss out on the first episode. The order is off for the first season anyways.

Re: I Need a Show To Watch
Don't worry. Daria doesn't really have much of a storyline that needs to be followed at first. At the beginning each episode is a stand alone full of cynicism and sarcasm :0
Too bad we don't have a Daria for the current generation. They can really use it
