My incredible journey

Post by MrsJazz on Tue Nov 30, 2010 2:11 pm

We met a B2 from Whiteman and put fuel on her midair.

Ironically this particular B2 is nicknamed, "the Spirit of Ohio." I'm from Ohio.

My ride!! KC 135 out of our base, GFAFB

The B2 meeting up with us to attach for fuel. (I'm laying on my belly for this right next to the boom operator.)

We hit a disturbance and the B2 detached and had to catch up to us.

Come fly with me! Up in the cockpit.

The cockpit...our two pilots

Thank you Mia Smile It was so much fun. I was one of 10 picked and sadly, the particular KC 135 that I was flying on, when we landed it was her last landing here at GFAFB.

Maybe sometimes you will have the opportunity to see that or other interesting things. OH, have you ever experience free fall??
